What to bring

Students to the summer camps should come prepared to dance, wearing clothing consistent with (but not strictly adhering to ) our regular dress codes (see link). For ballet, this means footed tights or thin socks with a leotard, optional skirt, hair pulled back, and ballet shoes. For jazz, comfortable cotton pants, a leotard or dance top/tank top, and jazz shoes (or ballet shoes for mixed camps).

For mixed camps (ballet and jazz), students should come prepared to begin with ballet and bring cotton pants, a jazz top, and optional jazz shoes to transition into the jazz portion.

Any students who have special dietary needs or allergies should provide their own snacks. Otherwise, the children will be served juice or water, crackers, cookies, and the like. Parents are free to drop off their students for the camp, unless they have any special medical or other concerns that require parental supervision.

Our ballet and jazz programs for children ages 2 1/2 through 16 focus first on instilling a love of the magical world of dance in our students and capturing their natural enthusiasm for movement and music.
