Ms. Tuya Tumennasan is a graduate of The Vaganova Ballet Academy of St.
Petersburg, Russia were she trained for 8 years. As a professional
dancer with the Academy Theater of Mongolia from 1992 to 1996 she
danced in Swan Lake as Odile and Odette, Giselle, La Corsair, Bayaderka
as Nikki and Gamzatti, Sleeping Beauty as Aurora, Les Sylphides, and
Raymonda and a number of other Classical Ballets. Ms.Tumennasan
competed in the International Ballet Competition in Japan and Russia
and won 4Th place in the New York International Competition. She was
also a guest artist in LaBoul Ballet Festival in France and the
Balanchine Festival in Washington DC.
Ms Tuya's career
continued as a principal dancer for the Granite State Ballet in New
Hampshire, and the Russian Ballet theater in Delaware. There she has
also been passing her dance experience to the younger talented students
and working as a ballet instructor.
Ms. Tuya has a passion for choreography and choreographed a two-act
ballet for young students. She also created numerous dances
incorporating classical ballet, national and ethnic dance styles.
Ms Tuya is excited to join the Adagio Ballet team where we believe her
exceptional education and skill will help us achieve great advancements
for our ballet students in the art of pirouettes and beats, endurance,
musicality and phrasing, variations of classical ballets and on
strengthening adagio work, instilling a strong sense of balance,
developing students' memory and stage presence; musical and physical
timing, unity of movement and eloquence of gesture. |
