Ms. Erin Good is originally from Ellicott City, Maryland, where she began her ballet career at the age of 3, jazz and modern at the age of 7 and tap at the age of 10. She studied classical ballet at the prestigious Ballet Royale Institute of Maryland for 8 years under the instruction of Vyacheslav Mesropov, former principal dancer of Moscow Ballet and Olga Tozyiakova, former principal dancer of Bolshoi Ballet. Throughout her training, Erin attended many summer dance programs including the Peabody Institute in Baltimore and the Brianksy Ballet Center, the American Academy of Ballet and the SUNY Purchase Dance Conservatory in New York. She has performed variations from La Bayadere and Don Quixote with principals and soloists of the American Ballet Theater such as Gillian Murphy, Stella Abrera, Paloma Herrera, Ethan Steifel, and Marcelo Gomes. Her most prominent role was of Myrtha, Queen of the Wilis, dancing alongside ABT principals Irina Dvorovenko (Giselle) and Maxim Beloserkovsky (Albrecht). Erin was also a finalist in the Youth America Grand Prix competition in 2005.
While completing her undergraduate college education in Madrid, Spain, Erin studied with the Centro de Danza Karen Taft under faculty from the Royal Conservatory of Madrid and since concluding her B.A. in Communication and Spanish Language and Literature has taught and performed as a guest artist with Ballet Tchu e Cia in Brazil. Erin is now studying her M.A. in Global Communication at the George Washington University and is excited to be teaching ballet, tap and jazz part-time at Adagio Ballet. |
