Ms. Caitlin Caitlin Granville is originally from Lawrenceville, Georgia where she began her dance training at the age of five at the Susan Chambers School of Theater Dance, studying ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, modern, and musical theater. While in high school she was one of 16 in the state selected for the Georgia Governor’s Honors Program for dance in 2003. She continued her education at Shenandoah University where she was awarded the highest talent scholarship while achieving her BFA in Dance in 2008. While at Shenandoah she was honored to perform in the Touring Ensemble touring through the Northeast, along with travelling overseas to Ireland and Spain. After graduation she began teaching for Little People's Creative Workshop traveling to day care centers around Winchester, VA to teach dance to 3-4 year olds. She also began teaching Pilates and Zumba along with teaching summer workshops at The LaGrange School of Ballet in LaGrange, GA teaching Pilates and Contemporary to ages 8-18. In 2009 she joined The Center for Dance in Winchester, VA teaching all levels in ballet, tap, and jazz. Since 2007, Caitlin has also performed professionally with Dissonance Dance Theater, in Washington, D.C. She is extremely excited to be part of the Adagio Ballet faculty! |
