A native of Upstate New York, Ms. Andrea Krisko began her ballet career at the age of 5 with the Decker School of Ballet under the training of her mentor, Donna Decker. At the age of 12, she was the recipient of a yearly scholarship based on merit. Ms. Krisko was also a member of the Chenango Ballet Theatre for 15 years, including several years as a soloist and guest artist. While a member, she performed in dozens of classical and contemporary ballets, and had the priveledge of training under Slowamir Wozniak, of the Theatre Wielki in Poland and Katherine Wildish, formerly of New York City Ballet. Ms. Krisko attended SUNY Brockport in Rochester, NY where she received her B.S. degree in English Literature and Dance. During her time at Brockport, She was trained by accomplished ballet and modern teachers from around the globe. Ms. Andrea taught at Adagio Ballet for over 2 years from March 2007 until June 2009. She will always be a proud member of the Adagio Ballet Faculty Alumni. |
