Like most scholastic institutions, Adagio
Ballet offers classes on a session basis. When you register your
student, you are registering for the entire session and not on a
per-class basis. Therefore, individual classes that are missed cannot
be substituted and will neither be refunded nor credited to an account.
With over 500 students and with years of experience, we have
found that make-ups do not benefit students. When children are placed
in a new setting for only one class, it creates confusion, disciplinary
problems, and unnecessary strain on both the students and the
teachers. Every class works at its own pace, has its own unique
performance dances, and most of our classes are full to capacity, thus
additionally preventing make-ups. Regular attendance in a child's own
class is what works best for all.
In the case of serious
illness, injury, or when a child moves out of state, please contact the
office to discuss refund policies with the management.
In case
of class cancellation due to severe weather, we will make the best
effort possible to offer opportunities for students to have an
additional class that session.
In case of unexpected teacher
absence, sickness, or the like, if we cannot provide a substitute
teacher, we will reschedule the class.
