Intensive Jazz Camps
Our Intensive Jazz camps are designed for Students who are interested in learning the art of jazz in all its complexity. These camps are strongly recommended for current Intensive Students and can be a pre-requisite for Students interested in joining our school year Intensive program. Students interested in this program should be prepared for dynamic technique instruction as well as engaging and challenging choreography. On the final day of camp, the Students present a dance in front of family and friends. Craft and Snack is included depending on the camp's length. 1-4 hours/day Monday-Friday.Tuition: $250.00-450.00/week.
This full day campwill focus on dance composition, improvisation techniques, and productionelements to help guide the creative impulse into a formative structured dancecomposition. Students will be coached inthe movement exploration process and then guided through the development of thechoreographic work, which will evolve and culminate in a work-in-progressshowing on the final day of the camp. Students will take technique classes in Ballet, Modern, and Jazz as wellas body conditioning, and improvisation. Music theory will be taught throughout the week to help the youngchoreographers ...
