Beginning Tap Camps
For Students ages 6-9, these camps are designed to combine age and level-appropriate dance education with a creative summer experience. By focusing on different themes, Beginner level Students have the opportunity to review their skills, be introduced to new technique, and learn engaging choreography. On the final day of camp, the Students present a dance in front of family and friends. Craft and Snack is included. 3hours/day Monday-Friday. Tuition: $300.00/week.
This is a camp designed especially for students ages 6-11. The camp offers an unforgettable summer experience to dancers who would like to be the stars of a modern Broadway show. By focusing on tap dancing in the famous Broadway musical Billy Elliot we will explore the tap class format and interaction with other dancers. We will dance with partners and in groups. We will make friends and share our craft ideas. On the last day of camp the students will present a dance that they had learned at camp. Come and applaud your dancer's achievements. Bring your cameras!
