Jazz VII - Advanced (12+)

Advanced dancers (12+) are experienced and confident performers who feel comfortable learning complicated new combinations quickly. Advanced dancers work on furthering their technique and attempting challenging leaps, turns and rhythmic changes which will prepare them for advanced study. It is expected that advanced students have a commitment to the class and to the self-discipline necessary to increase their proficiency at this age.

Movements mastered: various turns, spotting, splits, chasses changing legs, pas de bourre turns, various leaps, lyrical and hip-hop inspired advanced combinations, performance ability.
